What's the best pre-workout out there? Besides coffee.
I personally look for stuff that's been lab tested with proof of lab test posted.
Certain websites will let you filter out by what's been tested or not, with proof.
I am in no way affiliated with this company, but I have recently picked up some Edge of Insanity by Psycho Pharma. It is classified as high-stim. It contains a lot of caffeine (350 mg per serving / scoop). They also have a non-stim version that you might want to consider! Or you can always just halve the dose of high-stim to serve your needs.
