Buyer Beware with QVC. Here's my experience the other day with QVC. I bought this phone (pretty sure same phone) last time when it was advertised for $74 last month. When I got my credit card statement this week, QVC charged me $105!!!. I called QVC CS and was blatantly told that what I paid was the wrong price, even though they invoiced me the advertised price of $74. They would not budge on the price or issue me a credit. I said I wanted to return it, told them I opened it, but had not set it up yet. The email sent me a return shipping label, as I said I didn't want it at the price as they are scamming me. In reading the info on the label, it stated that I would be charged a $6.95 return fee to be deducted when the issue me a credit upon return of the phone. Total scam company. And this was listed on slick deals. Does slick deals allow this to happen? How many thousands of customers bought this phone and were charged a extra $30. Most people probably won't even notice the additional charge, or bother to return it. This is total fraud by QVC.

Sounds odd. Check your online account and email receipts. Did you verify the price when you checked out? Was there a new customer (were you?) coupon involved that might not have applied? Which phone, deal did you specifically buy? Was price before or after tax? Transaction details needed.

I had some issues but QVC fixed it. First, QVC system cannot take the Apt number and the package cannot be delivered. I chatted with CS and they shipped another one. But eventually I received two so I got a return label to return one. Second, the receipt shows with discount but they charged the full value. Later they refunded me. When I chatted with CS, CS doesn't agree but leave a note to finiacial dept. The finiacial dept fixed it.

no one has reported recent processes with unlocking concerning the new unlock policy. You now have to maintain active service for the full 60 days. So it hasn't been 60 days since the new unlock policy for us to know exactly what will happen.

If you only want to move a line from one account to another so that they are both managed under a single account then do this:
.
1. Login to the account you no longer want.
2. Click 'Manage Lines' in account settings menu
3. Select Phone # you want to move from drop down
4. Select 'Devices' underneath the dropdown
Then below the line details where it shows phone number and IMEI for that line
5. Select orange buttom that says 'Remove from Account'
You might get a text on this line with confirmation code to approve the change

6. Logout of 1st account then login to the main account you want to manage this line.
7. Go to 'Manage Lines" in account settings menu
8. Select 'ADD A LINE' orange button then follow steps from there. should be self-explanatory from this point.

Make sure you don't have line-lock protection enabled for the line you are trying to move between accounts. If you do disable and wait the mandatory 30 minutes before attempting any changes.

Are you saying the original disappears?
It does not disappear. It adds on and starts the unlimited. When unlimited ends then it goes back to using your minutes. I have one. This is how it works.

Zero chance a kid doesn't burn through the data in the first week. Just part of being a kid with a new 'toy'.One workaround you maybe able to do, once the device is network unlocked 60 days in, is to download the T-Life app and signup for a 90 day trial eSim from t-mobile. Then in settings set mobile data to use T-mobile eSim. If you are serious about stretching the included data the pointers I will give is to remove the sim card before powering on the device for the first time. Until you are able to establish a connection to WiFi. These cheap tracfone devices will begin to install about a dozen bloatware apps in the background during device setup the moment a data connection is established. Once you have the device setup insert your Sim Card and activate your service.1. Settings -> Network & Internet -> Data Saver toggle to ON.**2. Settings -> Network & Internet -> Mobile Network -> Mobile Data toggle off.3. Play Store -> Settings (3 dots top right) -> Network preferences -> Auto-update apps. set to 'Update over Wi-Fi only' or 'Don't update apps' the latter will notify when there are updates available but won't download until you tap update in your play store setting.4. Use google to learn how to disable or uninstall Mobile Services Manager. It is responsible for 99% of the carrier based bloatware. When you wonder how Temu, TikTok, Facebook, CandyCrush, Solitaire, seem to keep magically reappearing installed on your device. Mobile Services Manager is the culprit.**This is your mobile data killswitch and best resource against having your balance seep away in the background. Advise to only turn on an as needed basis. It only takes your WiFi to drop and go unnoticed one time in the middle of streaming a show for your MOBILE DATA balance to go poof otherwise.
Turn of cellular data. Easy

With Tracfone you never know, the best case would be getting unlimited talk and text after the first year too ( bug in the system as mentioned by the other poster), Unlimited talk and text would be a nice bonus to have.
About the 24GB data, you will have to see if that carry forwards to your second year, or just goes poof! Bonus if it carries forward that way you can plan your data usage.
With verizons latest evils no one can predict going forward on how the TF usage app will behave.

What does your TF app say? Do you see a left over standby plan?

Unlimited plans are used first then followed by the reserve limited plan.

My app doesnt say anything different. Looks like I have been given 2 years and 24gb data.

Not recommended, sim is registered to phone & should stay in original phone. After 60 days can use a BYOP SIM to move service to different phone.
Verizon owns Tracfone so service is Verizon.
