I have two ge switches and a light strip so allow me to warn you about the app/device experience. The switches disconnect from the WiFi and the app about once every 45 days and it's a non trivial hassle to reconnect them. I've never really had trouble with the light strip. The app usually logs me out between uses so it adds another slightly annoying layer to get back in.
To their credit, I've had these devices for at least 2 years now and they are working properly
Great deal! Compatible with the Smart Life app or is only with a proprietary app?
Edit: the listing and reviews mention the Cync app
I'm using a couple generations of cync bulbs thru alexa right now...the oldest flood lights use a hub, but the newer ones operate like these do through bluetooth. work pretty well.

I'm mainly hue and zigbee in my house. But have a few cync lightstrips and switches/motion detectors which were on sale. Used them for closets. I've had them for about two years and haven't had any disconnects which the lights didn't reconnect. Same with the switches. My wifi router reboots on a schedule so I know they handle wifi drop
App logs me out occasionally as well. But honestly I just use Google home or another integration to control the lights from app
The GE Cync light system is pretty decent, in my opinion. I was planning to post this deal myself once I received the combo pack; it's been available for about two weeks.
One of the coolest features of the Cync app is that you can synchronize all your lights to perform light shows and even add custom on/off images, which is a nice touch. The app automatically integrates your devices with Alexa and Google Home, creating a Bluetooth mesh instead of connecting directly via Wi-Fi whenever possible—a great way to reduce network congestion.
Overall, Cync is an above-average smart light system that I highly recommend. I even set up a specific deal alert for Cync because I like them so much—the system has been rock solid despite being dirt cheap for me.
