Keep in mind there's no Wi-Fi on this so you can't control it with Google home or Amazon Alexa which is a deal breaker for me

This could be interesting for mood lighting on movie night. But I've tried some other color bulbs (like the TP-Link RGB LED ones and some other no-name ones) and while neat for color I found them almost useless as a regular / white light source. Some of the reviews talk about this.

But yeah teenager to 25 year old me would have loved this kind of stuff for dorm/apt etc. Put it on purple, pull out the Pink Floyd and the bong and have a good ol' time.....

Check out Govee lights that attach to the back of the tv then have a camera that matches what it sees on tv. The Govee versions of this I think are around $100. I'm not sure if this would pair so I bought one to try but may end up returning it

Dead code but the price to buy out right comes up as $19.99 now. No code needed. Two set is $39 with a redeem of 5% when selected.

I did a Vine review of this light. It's a nice light, but SUPER unstable due to the height of the column and the relatively narrow and lightweight base. It's particularly sus when placed on carpet.
As long as you don't have it someplace where it's gonna get bumped, it's nice.

Ordered yesterday, arrived today. Not quite as much light as I would like, but it's here, it's assembled, the remote works. It has also zapped my hubby twice when he touched the top, but he does tend to shuffle his feet on the carpet. LOL.

Got the light but can't figure out how to add it in to my Google home or govee setup for immersion for my living room so I think I am going to return mine. Am I correct in that this can't be added into Google home or govee setup?

It is only controllable via the Magic Lantern app via Bluetooth, and you cannot link it to Alexa/Google home. You can set up a schedule for it to turn on and off automatically each day, but to change the light color/scene you either need to use your phone, use the remote, or use the button by the floor on the base of this thing.

I am very very happy with mine for $18, and it looks great wedged into a corner with the light panel facing the wall. Some nice chasing gradient color changes, and plenty bright when the room is not well lit after sunset.
