Best Buy has OPEN BOX - LG 65" Class G4 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2024) - YMMV
OPEN BOX:
Fair Condition - $1,389
Good Condition - $1,449
Excellent Condition - $1,529
I purchased an open box G4 65" from Best Buy in January. Prior to purchasing, I called Best Buy CS and inquired about the exact condition of each applicable TV in my area. CS was able to provide info on display model (Y/N), when returned, how long used, screen condition, and any missing parts. Based on that info, it was less of a crap shoot and I avoided taking home a unit that I might later return. The TV I got was listed as "fair" but was like new condition with zero hours on the display. Happy hunting!

I registered my 65"G4 that I purchased from Best Buy as open box and received the full warranty coverage from LG.
BB's call center has all the information about each open box unit at every store. They can give you all the relevant info. They can even create the PO over the phone and email to you for checkout.

really
I guess a couple of things I have seen that makes me wonder
Items graded fair that are really excellent...and vice versa. Which is why for an item like a TV I always suggest someone physically look at it
I have also seen the marked price in the store be LESS than the online open box price
I really like the G4. I was searching for an OLED with enough screen brightness to combat a living room with lots of natural light. The picture is crisp and clear. No complaints at all. That said, I wouldn't know how to draw comparisons to your existing TV.
