played through this with the VR mod with a little help from the internets and this wound up being the greatest gaming experience I've ever had,

Absolutely phenomenal game. And the story is incredible. I give 0 sh*ts about stories ever, but this was so captivating and evocative it made me cry multiple times. If you haven't played this game yet, you are potentially missing out on one of, if not the, best gaming experiences of your life.

I just find it easier to operate vs m/k. Doable without but less comfy. WASD movement doesn't have the sensitivity of a slightly touched stick.
Probably my favorite game of all time, and I've played a ton of games...
