If people are dumb enough to keep paying these prices they will keep charging them.

I switched to Aldi diet soda, $3 a 12 pack every day.
40% off of what?
FWIW I have had luck buying name brand soda in bulk from Dollar General.

In the DG app they have a regular 5 off 25 coupon on Saturdays and every now and then there are manufacturer coupons that stack with weekly 12 pack sales 3 for 12 or 3 for 15.

Also, I had some Pepsi 'bonus' 12+3 packs that rang up as 12 and were sale eligible... YMMV but stacking all coupons and buying 6 12-packs can get the per can price down to around 25-35 cents.

Did all the targets stop carrying caffeine-free, not the diet caffeine-free kind? Or is it just all the ones around me?

Yes this week got 3 12 packs of mtn dew for $8 + redemption + tax @ DollarGeneral. The way their coupons stack is quite favorable. If you have a store coupon dollar amount off a total amount purchase. it will give you that discount first before applying any discounts for the items you are purchasing. So three $9.00 12 packs that would have a 3 for $15 offer ($12 off). Would be calculated to $27 - $5 over $25 store Q - $12 3 for promo discount. for a total of $10 for 3.

I'm getting 3 for $18. That works out to 50c a can. WTF? What happened to the 30c a can deals?
Expect it to get worse with the tariffs on aluminum. I read over a month ago that Coke is going to start increasing their products in plastic to avoid them.

not sure why this is such a great deal.... Just go to Stater Brothers and get a twelve-pack of Pepsi on sale for $4.00 (if you buy 4 or more)

Inflation is one thing, but I can still buy Shasta soda in aluminum cans for $1.98 a 12 pack on sale back in March 2025. $3 for 12 cans Coke/Pepsi is fair. Bring back the four 12 packs for $10 sales!

just my 2 cents

my favorite 2 flavors of soda are Big K (Kroger's store brand) Orange Soda Zero, and Clear American Mandarin Orange Sparkling Water, and they are usually around $4 per 12 cans

I don't like major brands like coca cola anymore after trying these two

The President needs to investigate Coca Cola. How have we come to accept these ridiculous valuations.

$13.32 for 3 Dr Pepper Zero w/ Target Red Card ($4.44 per 12 pk). Considering the ridiculous price of 2 liters nowadays, this is hard to beat in 2025.
