rolling over actually works with cvs?

does it work with coupons as well? (rewards earned wont be affected by coupon discount?)

Rolling over works great. I used $8 of Extrabucks to buy this. Total was 90 cents (mostly tax) to get the item and $8 EB.
In your cart, you can see if the items fulfill the requirements to get the EB.

This part of the order got cancelled. My toothpaste I added in order to use a $4 Q plus rewards for the whole thing went through. Somehow, I got more rewards back than used; so I am okay with it.

Extrabucks are available about two hours after pick up, but then you have to claim them within four days. Then once claimed, it has an expiration of 30 days. See the two attached screenshots: one a few hours after pick up yesterday and the other after it was sent to the card:
