Air purifiers are dependent on two things, fan size and filter grade.

Ideally you want actual "HEPA", not "true hepa", "hepa like", etc, grade filters.

The larger the fan, the more air it can move, or the quieter it can move air. The smaller the fan, the less air it moves or the louder it is.

I have some larger winix/coway air purifiers that are listed as 200-300~sqft, so this baby unit listed at 500+ is shenanigans. Even my full size units don't move tons of air at the lower, silent speeds.

My recommendation for air purifiers: size up and go with a model that has a "standard" filter - one that can easily fit different models and is widely available.

Looking at the specs, it will do 2 air changes/hour in a 12 x12 x8 room, not nearly enough turnover for me
