How is this compared do the 32" G80SD? Both are roughly the same price after current discounts but the G80SD is last year's model and doesn't come with the $300 preorder credit.

Will there be any significant changes with this new one besides the size? Not sure if it's worth losing the $300 credit for a slightly bigger screen, but I'm coming from an ultra wide so it might be hard to downgrade.

27" 4k is too small. I wonder why the new 32" oled is not on Samsung's website but best buy does have it.

What is the resolution of your ultra wide?

27 to 32 on a 16x9 monitor is pretty large. Especially in a 4k monitor. I have a 4k and run it at 100% scaling to get the most real estate. Icons and UI are the perfect size. I do wish it had a higher ppi but 4k 32" works pretty well.

Saving up for a 5k2k monitor; that's my ideal productivity monitor for resolution and vertical real estate

It's actually perfect size. Nobody plays FPS seriously on a 32". It's way too big. 27" also fine for casual gaming too.

Are they coming out with a new 32" 4k oled?

Got it for $839. Just ask ask a chat rep for a code. You can get $25 cash back from another site.

Newest 4th Gen oled panel. I have the 32" g80sd but I needed something smaller. There's nothing wrong with the g80sd, but you're right you don't get 300 credit.

Is it confirmed that the G81SF is on the new 4th gen panel? How does it differ from the 3rd gen on the G80?

TizenOS (smart features) are the big problem with the G80SD. Makes everything slower. It is a small TV, not a good monitor. Too long to boot, change inputs.

What I mean is, what do I say to the chat rep? What code do you mean? I'm law enforcement and it shows $909 total for me before tax

Also, I see the q990d deal for epp, does anyone know if I could get that in the same purchase and use the $300 credit towards the q990d?

This has Samsung's newest 4th Gen QD-OLED, but still uses DisplayPort 1.4. Probably won't matter to most people though and it's still a good deal compared to the ASUS version.

I'm using the first responder discount as well. I currently see it for 874.99. There's a chat bubble to chat with customer service/sales rep. Choose "promotions" from the list. When you get on a chat with the rep, tell the you reserved it but it doesn't show your $50 reserve credit. They'll make you a cart (usually), or just give you the $50 code. That'll bring you down to $824.99. I paid $10 more sadly.
