7 nrr is a joke in the hearing protection world.
Just note these are all v1. For the most part difference between these and the v2's is that they just made them smaller and more comfortable. (But the 2's are nearly twice the price!)
NRR of 7

edit: varies by model. this was posted before OP had added multiple variants.

I have the Emotyic ER20 and found them pretty uncomfortable. I like the Loops much better. After a couple hours with the ER20s in my ears hurt. The ER20s also stick out of your ears, which always made me a bit nervous about what would happen if someone or something hit them. The Loops are much more comfortable - I've worn them for hours without any pain or discomfort - and are flush with your ears so there's no worry about damage from an accidental impact. Sound quality seems as good as with the ER20s if not better.I highly recommend the Loops.
I also tried both and actually prefered the ER20's, but the flanged-tips are uncomfortable as hell. Swapped them out for narrow bore silicone tips like the ones used on Shure IEMs. Much more comfortable and still comparable isolation.
Definitely preferred how the etymotics sounded compared to the Loops.

Maybe silly question but does the "quiet" one have the most noise reduction?

I tried these out, got the loop switch version and am going to return them. I played with them for a bit but it just didn't do much for me. It muffled noises a little bit but worse is that it was enough blockage that I heard my inner vibrations and yea I don't want that. Neat idea but not for me I guess.

I've had the Experience Plus for a few years and love them, worn them at a ton of very loud concerts and no ringing or ear pain afterwards. Music still sounds great, IMO sounds better than without. After 2 or 3 hours of having them in they can start to bother me a bit, but not too bad. These got me to actually use earplugs; previously I had ER20's that I never wore because they were uncomfortable and hard to insert.
The only negative is that the case kinda sucks. There are much better ones you can 3d print, I use this:

how would the quiet series compare to just using macks ultra soft earplugs?

or do they not serve the same purpose?
