I opened one of them, and I can see lots of rust. I gues the salt from the sweat leaked in and killed it. So, take the IPX7 with a grain of salt.
For $8, it may be OK as a disposable set after few weeks though

All the positive reviews must be fake or else ours are all defective.
For the fun of it I sent email to seller, they did respond overnight & sent instructions to reset (made no difference) & are sending a replacement set. Will return to Amazon if not any better than 1st set. BTW these are now on Woot so there must have been a lot of returns.
