Sony abandoned the PSVR2 basically after making this one game, hoping for more adoption or third parties to prop it up.
I'm more likely to get a Quest. I've borrowed one before and played Moss 1 & 2 as well as Beat Saber and some others. It's fun, but not the sort of platform I'd play often enough to justify buying in.

Did you get the alert about the region?

For anyone curious. I didn't use a VPN, and I'm in California. I just logged into my account, in order to use the promo code, and everything went smoothly from there. It's really weird that the other person here got a region warning.

I've had a psvr2 since it came out and I would have agreed with you until recently. Sony is still supporting it, though not with first party games as I would have hoped, they are funding third party developers to have a steady stream of good games. I also have a quest 3 but unless you have a gaming pc, I would still recommend the psvr2 over it as most of the quest games eventually come to psvr2 and at much better graphical fidelity. Resident evil 4 and 8, gran turismo 7, no man's sky, metro awakening, behemoth, hitman, Madison vr, wanderer fragments of fate are just a few of the high quality games that have come out with a lot more to come with flat2vr studios among others announcing a lot more upcoming. Couple that with the recent price drop and it's finally to the point I've started recommending it to friends.
