This is effectively just paying scalper prices for the 9070, no? $1k (ish) for that, $400 for the CPU, and $650 for the rest, which probably isn't worth that.

ymmv but I bought a 5070ti prebuilt directly from their site with a CB extension. Abandoned cart and got 25% back offer up to $250 in my email.

These prebuilts are so expensive and use the MSRP ($599) 9070XT models. These shouldn't cost anywhere near 2K. You could build this system at Microcenter with the high end 9070XT Quicksilver ($880) + actual S tier PSU + a good 2TB SSD (not the base level TLC Kingston garbage) for 1800. I don't know where they are getting the other $250 for this build. Please do the community a favor and avoid buying this scalper-like garbage.

I get it but for me the 250 saves me a 3 hour drive each way, the building, the debugging, the sourcing all the parts from different stores in the case micro center doesn't have everything in stock, and I can just call and return it instead of driving back down to MC to return it if somethings screwed up.


Not everyone feels this way and I get it, but I'm too old for those adventures. So yeah there's Def a market for these.
