Received this seasoning today. it is terrible. Tastes like a ramen seasoning packet.
This is from the people who make Duke's mayo. They make some really good stuff.

I noticed on all their product listings, unlike other companies, they don't show their ingrediants list (something that should be mandatory on Amazon imho for any food item). I also notice the 14oz one is explicitly listed as "value" vn the 4oz one is $4. Most likely they add way more salt, since salt is basically free, to make it value. Judge for yourself though, and perhaps find an ingredient label.

you should already have these seasonings in your cabinet

oinion powder
garlic powder
paprika
salt
pepper
herbs (thyme rosemary)

You'll use some combination of these in like 99% of your dishes

For those interested, it they list MSG as the 2nd ingredient, for their Seasoned salt blend. Some people will care, others not so much. Don't shoot the messenger.

The Sauer family sold out to private equity about six years ago. Duke's is still a great mayonnaise, but the new owners have messed around with the other stuff. They used to make great vanilla extract as their flagship product, but no more.
In fairness, I can't comment on the seasoning blend as I never tried it. YMMV.

Texas reporting in. These are all correct, but you forgot cumin and chili powder.

MSG bashing was a thing back in the 1980's, but I think that most people now realize that there's nothing wrong with it. It's all about adding an Umami dimension to your food. People in Japan live longer than we do and they're crazy about the stuff. I'd be more concerned about the yellow food coloring.

Don't forget MSG. I also keep that in my cupboard for many recipes.

I will warn you, Go easy with this stuff. I only tasted a small amount and couldn't get the aftertaste to go away. It was with me all day.
