Bosch has way too many hammer drill models and it's super confusing. From what I can tell they basically have a low torque/mid torque/high torque offering just like impact wrenches. This is like their mid torque hammer drill while the pro factor 1330c is their monster high torque and the 490 in the other kit is their low torque. I don't necessarily hate the variety of options, I just wish they would be more transparent about it.
Edit: Just realized the model number is equal to the advertised torque claim. So this is advertising a respectable 975 ft/lb torque.
So this drill would be comparable to like a Ridgid/kobalt xtr prosumer level hammer drill in terms of capabilities. It's a decent price for a decent drill if you're on the platform already or if you're picking up one of the other kits that are on sale today. Also worth noting lowes has been frequently clearancing bosch battery/charger kits in store if you're lucky. I picked up a new 8ah with the rapid charger (which is a crazy fast charger) for $100 just a few days ago. Obviously YMMV.
