The "Series X upgrade" is not free nor $10 for those who purchased a digital copy of this game on XB1. Slap in the face to those bought it, myself included.

No. It just backward compatible to Series X.

As long as graphics are updated, I think it's a great buy.
Personally I would suggest getting a good digital deal. Why? Because Tony Hawk pro skater is the kind of game that after the initial play period you'll still want to play it, but maybe only 20-30 minutes at a time. This is where digital really comes in handy. I know as kids we used to put games in and take them out on the slightest of whims, but as an adult in the 2020s it's kind of a hassle to be switching discs in and out for such short gaming sessions.
As long as graphics are updated, I think it's a great buy.
Keep in mind this is the Xbox One version, so while it will play on Series consoles I'm not sure if it includes that version.
This is only the Xbox One copy. Works on Series X however without the extra "goodies". I wish the digital upgrade is $10; not full price of the duplicated game and this is especially true for those who has this in digital. Those with disc of this game can simply sell it.
Don't want to pay the same game again when I already have it in fact it is already compatible lol
