Embarrassing. Can't imagine posting like a toddler "girls have cooties".
Hilarious take that the story / characters are what make these games fun. Aptly named user, can't imagine you're worth catering to.

I recommend playing in this order:
The New Order
The Old Blood
The New Colossus

Pretend Youngblood doesn't exist unless you have it free from Prime Gaming in February. While they're are some slight hints of older games in the series, you can 100% start with The New Order as your first game in the series.

With some previous games being given free over the years, it's mildly annoying where I have certain games. I have The New Order in GOG and EGS, The Old Blood and Youngblood in Windows Store. Guess I don't have game 2 but I do have it on PS4. Might get it for Steam though but would rather have the entire collection in Steam.

Metacritic Reviews:
The New Order (79 Critic, 8.0 User)
The Old Blood (76 Critic, 7.7 User)
The New Colossus (87 Critic, 7.4 User)

Do you really need a GTX 770 with 4GB memory or higher graphics card to play this? I have a GTX 760 with 2GB and Wolfenstein: The New Order plays just fine on my system. I'm thinking I'll be fine with the New Colossus.

And another question, instead of the regular version, would you recommend the New Colossus DIGITAL DELUXE which seems to have more DLC content?

The DLC has mixed reviews. Most reddit comments call it a reskin essentially of existing levels with just a new story. For $3.90 though they may be worth it if you're fine with GOG instead of Steam.

via one steam review...
"No cinematics. no new weapons. no new bosses. recycled levels in the vanilla games. boring story. Wolfenstein II: The Freedom Chronicles in a nutshell "

Can anyone tell me if I've played this? Haha I've completely lost track over the years. Always enjoyed these games except the one with the girls I got for free recently.

I really REALLY wish DOOM and Wolf would get back to basics.... I lost all interest when they went with 2 girls as the protagonists.

Not exactly. I played the original game on our Apple II+ back during Reagan's first term.

No. While all Wolfenstein games are chronological, they made The Old Blood (after these two games) as a form of wrap-around prequel. It's much shorter, and meant to be played after.

You can either view Old Blood as a replacement prequel, or as a somehow-slotted-in extra visit back to the actual Castle Wolfenstein. They left it intentionally open to interpretation.

Youngblood and the VR experience are the other two. Youngblood is kinda a love letter to futuristic alt-action games and stories. I think you almost have to like games like MGS2 to enjoy Youngblood, so it's the polarizing one.

Wish they hadn't given up on VR though. That one is a buggy mess, but they did better than most in that era.
