I have the DWST560104 which is similar but bigger. The construction does seem solid albeit I haven't put it through anything too crazy. Could you find a similar option than this one for less than $35? Almost certainly but in my experience products like this can be really hit or miss in terms of quality, durability, etc. Plus you're paying somewhat for the black/yellow and DeWalt label.
