I bought 2 pairs of Serengeti Carerra, Lou Ferragamo, and all were authentic.

What I didn't know is how advanced the Serengeti lenses are - photo chromatic, corning mineral glass, etc.

One of the screws came out of a pair of Serengeti and they (Serengeti ) honored the warranty and allowed me to pick any pair brand new from their website for a $20 + $6 shipping flat fee. So Serengeti purchased from eyedictive qualify for their lifetime warranty.

I would spend a little more, $80 on a pair of Serengeti from eyedictive such as these.

Nice deal. These are the "large" size. I do wish they had the Airman Square with polarized. I think last time they did, but only in the small size. As long as I'm dreaming, a polarized glass lens version for under a $100 would be nice ;-)
Not sure on "fake" but "factory seconds" I can confirm. I received smith ski goggles with the word smith on the head band upside down. Worst part was returns are not easy they made it so difficult I had to keep them. Would not order from eyedictive ever again

Why would anybody want real glass for sunglasses? Too heavy compared to plastic.
Yeah I have a pair of metal AOs from a decade or more ago with glass lenses.
I really love the clarity, feel, and appearance of the glasses... but they're really uncomfortable. The weight makes them press down hard on my nose and they're more likely to fall off if I lean forward.
I'm considering plastic just for comfort.

Yep I have the anteo sunglasses with the corning glass lenses. The clarity is amazing. I walked into a sunglasses hut and one of the sales associates was shocked to see made in Italy on the glasses. I told him to check out eyedictive, it's Grey market but you can score some very nice deals

No issues with fakes, but they did send me used sunglasses. The boxes had small tears at the corners and the glasses had smudged lenses and face oil on the nose pads and temples. When I emailed them about it, they made excuses and there was no attempt to resolve it. It was disappointing after many years of being satisfied with their products and service. I'm wary of purchasing from them now. Quite disappointing.
Interesting. At the prices they have if I had multiple good experiences and one bad one I'd just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. All I have to do is have a good experience more than half the time and I come out ahead of paying retail.

Before COVID I used to get metal+glass original pilots with straight temples for under $50. Loved those.

Glass actually lasts. Im bad with my glasses meaning I'll toss em in my passenger seat or pocket with no case. My glass lenses still look brand new after a year where plastic won't

Love my Serengeti pair I bought from eyedictive for $89 shipped. Very high quality. Used them on my ski boat and even threw them in the junk box full of other sunglasses, keys, and phones and they don't have any scratches on the lenses.

I guess I'm old school? All my best sunglasses have been glass. I don't have a problem with them slipping down when I'm doing things like driving or fishing or standing in the sun at an outdoor wedding in a suit drinking a beer. Sure, I'll wear lighter plastic sport glasses for biking or hiking or other active sports, but for me, the durability, optics, and scratch resistance of glass is perfect in this type of sunglass.

I just want to share my recent experience with EyeDictive. I received an empty box from them. I always record unboxing videos in case there's something wrong. I sent them that video and asked for a full refund since I didn't get what I paid for and instead of apologizing and giving me back my money, I got blamed that I repackaged it before recording (and I quote) "a surprisingly convenient video" and basically treated me like a scammer. I've applied for a chargeback at PayPal and hope to get my money back. Buy at your own risk from that store.

In their defensive it does look totally sketchy. I have never in my life heard of someone shooting video of themselves opening a package.

Sorry.....but I dont blame them.......

Once you've been scammed by lowlives on ebay, you'd be surprised the habits you pick up trying to insulate yourself from other lowlives. I've recorded myself/parcels from the moment of dropoff because I don't want to be accused of doctoring packaging or selectively editing.

When I ordered from eyedictive, I recorded everything. What I got was kinda sketchy and probably used. Sent 'em back and mentally crossed them off my list of retailers.

You are one of the few. Ive never once has an issue. Eyedictive is a reputable company that doesnt sell fakes and is easy to make returns to. Totally different that a eBays garage store.
