I bought 2 pairs of Serengeti Carerra, Lou Ferragamo, and all were authentic.

What I didn't know is how advanced the Serengeti lenses are - photo chromatic, corning mineral glass, etc.

One of the screws came out of a pair of Serengeti and they (Serengeti ) honored the warranty and allowed me to pick any pair brand new from their website for a $20 + $6 shipping flat fee. So Serengeti purchased from eyedictive qualify for their lifetime warranty.

I would spend a little more, $80 on a pair of Serengeti from eyedictive such as these.

Nice deal. These are the "large" size. I do wish they had the Airman Square with polarized. I think last time they did, but only in the small size. As long as I'm dreaming, a polarized glass lens version for under a $100 would be nice ;-)

No kidding. They used to sell the Original Pilot on eBay for under $40 shipped.

These are all nylon (unlike the real AO skymaster) . Based on my experience with this retailer, you are running a great chance of getting fake sunglasses.

Interesting. I thought people were generally pretty happy with eydictive. I hadn't heard of a "fake" issue, though I wouldn't be surprised if they regularly sell either factory blems or out-of-region glasses. These days with even RayBan selling crap versions of long-time models, for me it's either $15 Amazon sunnies or $300+ glasses direct from the (ideally independent) manufacturer.

Yep. Many say this every time an Eyedictive deal comes up. I have purchased over 10 pairs from them. Serengeti, Persol, Carerra. All have been the real deal. Not sure where the "fake" complaints are coming from.

The AO website itself has sunglasses with both nylon and glass lenses.

No issues with fakes, but they did send me used sunglasses.

The boxes had small tears at the corners and the glasses had smudged lenses and face oil on the nose pads and temples. When I emailed them about it, they made excuses and there was no attempt to resolve it.

It was disappointing after many years of being satisfied with their products and service.

I'm wary of purchasing from them now. Quite disappointing.

Why would anybody want real glass for sunglasses? Too heavy compared to plastic.

There are still a ton in Ebay for cheap. Seems a bit less sketchy buying them vs a Rayban but who knows if they're actually real

I have purchased several sunglasses from Eyedictive, and they all seem genuine. Great customer service. They would not have survived this long if they were selling fake ones.

My only comment is that I paid around this amount for some AO aviators from Eyedictive several years ago and they are my go to/favorite driving glasses to this day.
