Is it worth using this on my car that gets scratched often. I read, "while polishing can improve the shine and appearance of a car, it also removes a thin layer of the clear coat, which can weaken the paint over time."

I didn't get, however, I had my car keyed (not a Tesla) but not too deep but you can see the white base layer underneath...I assume this won't help?
