Other than that, they are very lightweight. Much lighter than the T12's and slightly lighter than my Galaxy buds. Even their charging case is smaller and very light.
I use mine mainly for listening to audiobooks and occasionally watching videos at home. The T12's stay in my bedroom and get used at night to listen to books before I go to sleep. The Galaxy buds are my travel pair, I travel quite a lot and they go with me everywhere.
As far as overall sound quality, the Galaxy buds are superb by far, but cost a lot more. The T12's are second and these come in 3rd, but all 3 get the job done. I use these cheap ones when doing yard work or other tasks around the house. I'm not afraid to get sweat on them or anything, because they are cheap, but sound good enough for me to enjoy what I'm listening to
They may not be the best but for the price they are worth it when you will be near water and do not want to destroy your good pairs that you spent alot on.

I think you are gonna have to design something to do that. Almost no way an in ear or over ear will 100% of sleeping positions be comfortable in. I was just trying to figure out how to design this myself. It would probably have to be one of those bone tranducers(sp?) laying behind the ear. I'm not sure if the bone transducing stuff is good enough to buy; so I don't try it. But it won't seal your ear to keep outside noise out.
If you want to do this right ; you would have to find a low profile ear loop/mold wires that has a lower profile soundtube. An then mold your own earbuds with a kit where the mold is much of your ear; not just the canal.
I can put up with my tozos on the average day as much as I can other semi comfortable pairs. It's random what nights it bothers me; but it still can. These are higher profile but less surface area ; so it can be more noticeable if that one position is where you sleep that night. Or less if it's not. After getting a bud trapped in my ear under my ear drum recently; after twisting it violently while standing; this sleeping with small buds in my ears seems like I've been real lucky.
p.s. I use different headphones and earbuds for music and stuff so I can't comment on that. The quality is that of a $30-40 earbud.
.
I bought leashes for my wireless earbuds, that works pretty well for me but honestly, I don't even use it except sometimes when traveling. Maybe something like this would work for you but it's just my guess.

There are options advertised for side sleepers but I haven't tried them.

I personally am fine with these TOZOs mostly because they stay in my ear while I move around a lot but they do stick out to where if I lay on them it hurts my ear. That's why I only sleep with 1. Then if the battery warning comes on (which is annoying and loud) I switch to the other one that is in the case. It's far from optimal and I'm in the market for a slimmer earbud I can actually lay on which is going to be pretty small, like hearing aid size.
Decided to return the ones from Tozo.

Sound is simply vibration, I think maybe you could create a fully soft silicone Bud that is vibrated by a tiny motor. I think if you were able to create something that was able to be good for this, I doubt you could get it to do anything else well though.

How's the mic for calls on these?
