With all those cheap, cheap Skil sets sold at Lowe's recently, this seem like a natural fit.

Pretty good deals at Lowe's on some of these, $70 impact driver or drill kit + free tool, so could basically add an impact driver and a ratchet to this for $40.

Also I been watching Amazon for a sale on the 4ah version of this USB-C for months and I finally broke down and bought one for full price yesterday, so if history is any indication, that means they will put that one on sale soon.

Lowe's have the two 2.0 with charger + free choice of tool. That's a better deal if you need to get into the platform.

are these new usb-c batteries chargeable on the regular skill charger? i have some older styler batteries/charger.

the tire inflator is also on sale for 30$, seems to be rated well enough. if you already have the platform might be worth a look

not on sale but worth the honorable mention, +1 for the right angle drill and the auto hammer. the right angle is a beast and could probably replace my m12 drill/impact for most things. drives 4-1/2" headloks with ease and the light ring on the head is awesome

The back wall has a lot of Skil 12v/20v/40v depending on your lowes. I just picked up a brushless 12v impact driver/drill kit with charger for like $49. Seems like Lowe's doesn't have the shelf space for Skil anymore with how hard they're trying to make Craftsman into the blue store Ryobi.

Yeah, they are, I use the regular charger more often than not, but the USB charging is really handy when I am out of the house, just any 60w or better USB charger will get them done quick, and I also have 200w USB charging hub that can charge a bunch of them at once if I have gone through a few doing something. All in all, fantastic feature for a battery.
