Musk can pound sand but I won't deny these are still good cars. Especially if you want a sedan, there's flat out no competition in the EV space besides the Ioniq6 which costs a lot more and is more of a sporty vehicle.

The "Free FSD transfer" thing is dumb as shit. It should have always been free to reward loyalty and keep people buying their cars, not have someone spend several thousands for it and then tell them it won't carry over if they want a new model.
I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but the Tesla 3 is much sportier and fun to drive car...that's an almost universal opinion. And, at least here in SoCal, the Tesla is much more expensive to lease. Hyundai is giving away their EVs. The MSRP might be higher, but unless you're Clark Griswald, irrelevant.

What about the Polestar? Or BMW, Audi or MB? They all have sedans too.

I am seeing dealers trying to use the tariff fiasco to get people to buy now as they raise their prices. The cars I had been looking at have increased their prices and are now charging MSRP. I buy every 2-3 years but will keep my car for 10 years if I have to. I only drive about 200 miles a month. If these tariffs on cars actually stay in place sales will tank so I am in no hurry. I will buy an EV when battery technology is better and cheaper but as of now, I still look for ICE cars.

That's funny, you are a patient man like me, but you will be disappointed that a Tesla will not hang in there for 18 years. I buy quality and I'm disappointed if my autos do not last 15+ years also, that is the only reason I've never jumped on a Tesla but friends have and love them (until lately!).
What are your others cars so we can compare.

The fact they didn't catch on to your joke is telling. They must live under a rock- or in it.

I was watching a documentary on how strong the frames of these cars are. The GREAT ELON MUSK uses at 15k PRESS to create a single body frame, stamped - super strong and super light. The distance on these new model 3s is FANTASTIC.

I am BUYING ONE TODAY.

Should I see a $3500 discount?............ its so DAMN EXCITING, DUDE I'M GETTIN ANOTHER TESLA

Yeah, that's true. I think EVs in general get a bad rap because when lithium batteries catch fire it's pretty spectacular. I think I read somewhere that Kia/Hyundai actually have the highest incidence of car fires from any brand.

Anyway, any vehicle can catch fire due to a defect or poor maintenance. It's rare, but there is always a risk.
