I recommend using privacy-dot-com virtual credit card numbers with companies like this. Their customer service is horrendous. I had to do a chargeback eventually to get a refund.

I ended my service and deleted my eSIM. They kept charging me. But the only way to log back in is by getting a code texted to your Lyca number. I didn't have Lyca anymore to get one!

On another occasion I hit submit more than once, because the website wasn't responding. So I got charged twice, there. (Turn off any ad-blocking when you sign up, that should help.)

I'm happy with Infimobile. I simply paid for a yearly sim card, and don't have to give them any re-curring payment info.

It's not that hard.. took me 10 minutes. All they ask is for 2 phone numbers you've called during your billing cycle.
Customer service has no need to see the numbers you call. Especially outsourced customer service. Nuts that they have access to all of that data.

Good point! They asked me the last 3 numbers. I gave them. No response for a week. Then they asked me for my state issued ID card. No response for a week. Prior to this, I had taken a 3 month plan. They started charging my credit card each month. Upon a couple of calls and emails which were either not read or had delayed responses, they still did not resolve it.

Finally put a dispute through the card. I bet they never responded to the card issuer either, or maybe the card company thought it better to just pay me rather than deal with them!

My problem was the phone number has been with me for so many years and with so many contacts. But seriously I was thinking of giving it up after just 1 or 2 calls and emails. No other MVNO does gamesmanship as much. I am not sure if all that Lyca asked me was legal, but surely that tactic is working for them.

I suggest anyone tempted to this deal to use virtual credit card to purchase. Lyca intentionally disable the auto-renew button on their website and app to make it difficult for you to cancel the line. I'm disputing through my credit card company right now to try to get my money back.

My wife just went through these nonsense questions from Lyca rep yesterday. This company is so disgraceful
