Marketplace Deal vs Hot Deal?

2,184 426 April 25, 2025 at 09:56 AM
Hi,

I posted a deal today on Amazon and then couldn't find my post. I found it in the Marketplace Deals forum. I'd never even seen that one before so I'm wondering what exactly it's for and why my deal ended up there.

The description says it's for lesser known vendors or something, but Amazon and Redtiger and both well known brands. I'm wondering if I did something wrong when I posted it or what. Just confused and wondering if I posted it wrong.

Thanks.

Amazon doesn't it make it that clear, but your deal is sold by the marketplace seller RedtigerDirect, which has fewer than the 250 ratings we require for Hot Deals posts. You can find an overview of the posting rules here. While there can be great deals from newer sellers, buyers can sometimes run into problems, so we want SDers to have a heads-up before they buy now think later.
