They don't care. A lot of NA Switch games in digital only actually have cartridge in other regions.
PS Vita is the way to play these even today. 60 FPS.

So you didn't play them?
You can see from the YouTube videos of the cut scenes how bad they are.
Switch runs slower than PS Vita. Sometimes framerate is half. Half of a decade older console.
And worse, sometimes the cut scenes on PC run fast. I'm not just talking 60 fps... I mean they didn't even bother to lock the speed, so it's like an old game jumping around because the CPU is too fast.
And Master Collection is missing since really crucial stuff like animations later in MGS2... won't spoil it, but some of the stuff Campbell is supposed to do in Codec... just doesn't happen.
Again, HD Collection is the way to play MGS2/3.
