Always do your own due diligence but this is what I found:

"It's important to note that if you cancel or choose not to renew your Total Tech membership, your AppleCare+ coverage for previously purchased products will continue for the remainder of the 24-month period."

The Best Buy Membership FAQs clearly state that the "protection plan will continue for up to 24 months" even if you cancel your membership.

Wrong not included you have to pay for bb membership every year for the deal and you must be in good membership standing

Think this is worth upgrading from an M1 Air 16gb Ram? Guessing not as the M4 is nice but same Ram means not much difference for the casual user. Though concerned that tariffs will make prices high for a while
