I find it interesting how they compare it to the Apple AirTag but don't mention that their tag does not have precision finding. They just say that the Apple AirTag does not come with a lanyard hole and stickers. At least for me, the precision finding is a huge plus. You can put it in your luggage and know exactly when it is coming out of the carousel.

Bluetooth only like Tile, not Ultra wide band like Airtags, Galaxy Smart Tags or the Chipolo/Motorola Smart Tags.

In your opinion, has Galaxy Smart Tags or the Chipolo/Motorola based tags risen to the level of Apple and the Airtags? We're not in the Apple ecosystem and have no desire to be and it just feels there's no equal alternatives to this day despite the android marketshare.

Nope. Airtags are still king. I dont have an iphone but have an ipad (partner has iphone) and use airtags predominantly for things I want to track that arent always in my possession like luggage. Galaxy smart tags are for things like my keys.

I have the Galaxy Smart Tag 2 and it's much slower than Apple Airtags. Also I wished their speaker volume was louder because I can never hear it when I use my phone to turn on the alert. Also the double tap on the SmartTag2 is sensitive so having it in my pocket (on my keys) will cause it to tap even when inside a waterproof case. Kills the battery faster than it needs to but it's easy to replace the battery.

galaxy smart tag works better globally where iphone is not dominant
