I had been looking at flights the day before this sale hit and my itinerary was ~5% cheaper. Not an amazing sale, but glad I happened to book during it.

My flight was exactly the same with and without the code. Do they publish anywhere which flights are eligible?

In my experience, the code is applied whether you type it in or not. You can tell if the flight is eligible when there is a line through an original price. From my searches today, it is mostly Tues/Wed flights.

Anyone have problems using the code? I get "Sorry, the promotion code entered cannot be validated". My dates fit all the parameters and everything...

The code is only valid on certain flights, not all dates within the range. You can click on the Low Fare Calendar to see other dates that the code might apply, but it is typically Tues/Wed/Sat. Look for the fares that have a price crossed out.

Yeah, I did Low Fare Calendar, got errors for all months. Ah well not this time I guess.

and when basic tickets will no longer be changeable, when their flight credits will expire, when they charge for desirable seats, when they begin variable points redemptions, and, uhhhh... yeah they're gonna suck
