I don't have this specific model but I do have another simple human and mine does.
I have the exact model, and yes it does dent. I wouldn't say easily (better than most, but easier than I'd prefer it to). Great for this price if you can get one that doesn't have scratches and dents already, considering it's an "open box" item
mine is not, but i havent dropped things on it, so i can't say

Loosely. I use Kirkland kitchen bags. It has been years and it has been working great regardless. I had to wd40 the hinges after a while to keep it from squeezing.
