Are even 14tb drives available at $7/Tb currently? I'm looking for the best/biggest capacity drives at $100ish each and doesn't seem like a 14tb is doable. Maybe 6 months ago.

This is what I am trying to find. So far no luck at all. What happened to drive costs?

Have new drives gone up or are you just talking refurbs which certainly have.

Any luck? 8tb is the best I've seen for around $100.

No dice here. I'm actually watching that one too. I can use sata or sas, so I was thinking of going sas for now and hope that prices come down. Used commercial drives have more than doubled in the last 6 months. Crazy.

Let's hope they go down in prices by the holidays. I bought 2 14tb hard drives from goharddrive for 110 a piece. I wish I had bought a few more now.
