All chocolate is cocoa, sugar, and cocoa butter. If you want a chocolate bar then you'll be consuming a lot of sugar. If you don't want to consume a lot of sugar then don't click on any deal threads about chocolate bars. This was a completely pointless comment and before you mention the '100% cocoa' bar, those are unsweetened chocolate made for baking. No one eats those for enjoyment.
you don't have to eat the entire bar

49-50 grams of sugar in a whole bar from a couple of the labels. Didn't look any further. Too much for me. Dark chocolate has antioxidant properties, but from a sugar perspective, might as well eat Snickers. I wish I could, but don't want to have to cut off my feet. Edit: the 100 percent Cocoa has zero sugar but is $40 for the box. Still, not a bad deal if you like it.

The 85% Lindt bar doesn't have much sugar at all and a great taste.

I eat the 85% dark chocolate for health reasons. 50 to 70g everyday for almost a year now. A recent lipid panel test showed great improvement. I also had an ultrasound of my carotid artery. My vascular surgeon compared it to previous tests and reported plaque regression. The 85% version has much less sugar.

That's a lot of dark chocolate. I used to eat quite a bit until I read about the high lead and cadmium levels. I now limit the amount I consume. I suppose you can always throw a blood lead test in the mix. Nice improvement though!

100% cocoa is usually way too bitter to be 'chocolate'

From what I have read, the 100% version has dutch processed chocolate. The 85% does not. The 85% is healthier and tastes much better than the 100%.

Thanks. Grabbed the 90%. $2 per bar with S&S seems good. I usually have a little square with my coffee or later at night with a bourbon. Not exactly for health reasons I just like it, but the lower sugar is better also.

Edit: Thanks everyone for pointing out the artificial flavors... I cancelled my order.

Just tried this the other day. Even for someone so obsessed with chocolate that I'd eat anything, this was somehow awful.
