isn't laundry detergent only good for 1-2 years? 1 of these would probably take me a year to use

I subscribed to this last month, for delivery 4 days ago. They cancelled my order 2 days before everything else shipped.

How does this compare to Costco/Sam's club pricing?

If you're going to buy $50+ of Tide, remember that you can submit for $15 mail in rebate from Procter and Gamble. Offer expire 6/15/2025.

If you are following their recommended amounts per load then you are using too much in all likelihood. More detergent is not better, less is actually better. P&G marketing is a highly paid group and they are incentivized to get you to use as much detergent as possible. 2 oz is about all most people need per load, for this reason I never compare loads, I compare ounces.

If I did the math correctly this is .10 oz vs Sam's being .11 oz with the current $5 off at Sams. Doesn't seem to be worth enough savings to me to stockpile 4 of them.

It looks like that's $50 after coupons/discounts are applied. Maybe that's just the per-item paper variety they're talking about though.

Agree 100% with your info regarding amount required vs amount "recommended". A tablespoon for a FULL load is what works wonderfully, again, for a washer FULL. Our family of four, we almost never run full loads, MAYBE 3/4 full but probably less on average per load. Just adding for context for other folks if at all helpful. Our Tide detergent does great and goes pretty far applying this approach.

I've been using laundry detergent sheets lately and I'm impressed. It cleans well without the mess and bulk. It is much cheaper too.
