So you're right that there something fishy going on with the reviews
light/cord looks totally different. much heavier duty in the reviews. product photos show no plastic loop, just a small clip like Christmas gutter lights
ETL certification can be a little tricky to find since the OEM is not always disclosed/multiple trade names etc ...but I didn't see any KYY listed https://ramuk.intertekc
the price is cheap, but there is a lot of questionable marketing going on here. YMMV
