I was able to get an order through by signing up for an Nvidia account and prepopulated my address under the user profile. It appears there is some issue with their stripe configuration and potentially due to an inability to link the address with the card for the final checkout step.
I'm not sure if this will work for other people, but this was the strategy that seemed to work for me. Hopefully it ships. FYI - you may need to contact your CC company as the constant refreshes may be detected by certain cards as fraud, especially if you tried in multiple browsers as I did.
All these 5 series cards and their pricing are a hard pass, especially w/the crap performance boost they offer
The 9070 matches the 5070 in ray-tracing and beats it in raster. Plus, the 9070 has 33% more VRAM, and the Nvidia 5000 series drivers are garbage.

Edit: Corrected "50% more VRAM" statement to 33%.

Question to those who already received the card.
Did you activate the Doom code?
Is it possible to sell the code?

Certain games like Dying Light 2 at medium for stable high FPS, maybe something like CoD I can run high+ without issue. I also prefer not to use DLSS when I don't need it. So this isn't 4k medium with DLSS set to something like balanced or performance.

A lot of times, depending on the game, there isn't a HUGE jump from Medium to high. However, when gaming a 77 inch 4k OLED TV, you notice the resolution difference between 4k and 1440 or lower. A MUCH more noticeable difference.

So sure, if you want to be an ignorant graphics elitist, go ahead.
how am I a graphics elitist? running at 4K is being a graphics elitist, especially with no DLSS

running at 4k to match your TV resolution is fine, is what consoles do.... but even consoles use up scaling techniques to look much better graphics wise

running 4K with DLSS QUALITY at high for 60 fps it's best case scenario for DLSS..... running 4K native medium makes no sense

you'd need the gpu to claim the code first and yes the code is sent out once the card is shipped.

Like all I asked is if the 9070xt was still a better buy at $150-$180, no answers though people still continue to bring up the 9070 and then I get downvoted. And who increases a msrp months after a launch? Considering just returning my order and staying away from this madness. I've stayed away for 10 years, its truly the craziest most toxic market segment gaming is, from the sellers to the buyers. Everyones got an angle. Gaming consoles are just the way to go, theyre still probably shady as well but at least they have the incentive to get the console in your hands so you buy games.
