I have both cork and EVA versions of these. I prefer EVA because they're lighter, cheaper, and waterproof. I like the cork for looks mainly

Slightly that's why they started making those narrow ones for people with clown feet (long, shallow, and thin)z I use regular and my size and I can tighten the straps all the way down which is unusual. My feet usually don't qualify as tiny nor huge. However it is comfortable even if looser. These are lounging and walking shoes not hiking nor soccer shoes. Leather and cork are way superior to that birkibuc crap and feel better than the plastic EVA. But the cork wears out and the glue does too. 5-6 years and these are dead with occasional use. EVA last the longest. Birkibuc is crap.
