those 1.5ah batteries won't work well with a saw, unless you are cutting 1/8" material. I would recommend a 4ah minimum.

I beg to differ. I recently bought the $149 larger kit which comes with the 1.5ah batteries. I used it with the saw for making garden beds. Have cut up to 2inchx2inch cedars and it did a fine job.

Edit: sorry, I believe the ones I got were 2ah batteries, so I might be wrong on the 1.5ah strength.
