28oz. Cans are the standard size $2 cans you see at the supermarket. But I suppose this size would be good for $1 a can for empty nesters that don't have to feed multiple people, and don't like leftovers.
These are superior to Heinz baked beans.

16 oz. are the standard size cans, not 28 oz. These are basically half that size. Good for 1-2 portions....depending upon how much you like them or who of the two likes them more. They are kinda filling.

It was dead when I posted that it was dead. Would you say that a "lowest price" of $27.95 (which it was then and is again now), might qualify this as a dead deal?
Prices fluctuate all of the time on planet Amazon (where there's never any real consistency).
heinz is the king of vegetarian (i.e. no bacon in it - don't get me wrong, i love bacon, but dont need it in my beans) baked beans
