How much repellant are you getting in the spray bottle vs this one? Who knows.
From my one-time use of the spray bottle years ago, I think this one is more effective.

Then, apply Rain X per directions.

Who said it cleans it? Pretty sure both spray and this say you need to clean before. I have had both spray and this and both are about the same. Just comes down to cost for me.
There isn't a difference in the product. The one you reference is just in a spray bottle and a much better deal. That bottle is NOT the same as the 2 in 1 that someone else mentions, so both are just repellent. I stopped buying this one and switched to the spray.
According to the MSDS sheets, the 12 oz and 16 oz spray bottles that says "Original Glass Water Repellant" is the exact same product as the small 3.5 oz squeeze bottle that also says "Original Glass Water Repellant".
Walmart is showing the 12 oz spray bottle for $6, so that's the far better deal for price per ounce.
I personally look for what I have found to be a far better and longer lasting glass water repellant than Rain-X, which is Aquapel.
Aquapel isn't as easy to find as Rain-X, but well worth it, imo. Aquapel was the true original glass water repellant.

Same experience. This is a crap product that does the opposite of what it is supposed to do.
When I applied strictly following the directions, it all clouded up, and my windshield had a haze all over. Night driving, especially in rain, was a nightmare.
I have never touched it ever since.
