Also my dad really doesn't care about video quality and audio. He'd be happy with his 7 year old $300 55" Hisense that I got from Costco. This is a nice jump up from a basic tv without going to Oled pricing. A 77" LG b4 I'm assuming on sale is still around 1300-1400.
I'd love an OLED but it seems those are 2x the price.
