230' of .095 for $6.98, that's the big roll of the large gauge.

This is what I've been using (homeowner type opinion) - Maxpower Twisted: https://www.amazon.com/Maxpower-3...e0INT&th=1

Youtube review: https://youtu.be/89BkJF0kVyc?si=Ykn2Mo8uFyzA-I9R (both OP and Maxpower are in the review)

It's pricier than OP but performance and longevity will make up for the difference.

I use the .095" with an Ego trimmer and I think it's great. I stocked up last year when it was on sale. No complaints from me.

I bought several of these when they went on sale last year. The cutting performance is quite good, but there is somewhat frequent difficulty with line feed as it gets stuck on itself with its sharp edges.

I work for the small company that did the design on a bunch of the Shakespeare packaging. Not me personally, but cool to see in the wild. I'm basically an A list celebrity now.

I do not like this, picked up a bunch when it was clearance two falls ago. It disintegrates more quickly than the solid same size equivalent. We have 5 weed whackers and we all feel the same way. It is a good deal if you are not using the weed whackers as frequently as we do.

Got some last year during a sale like this. I ended up giving it away bc it didn't hold up as well as echo black diamond. I have to do A LOT of weed eating on our property and this stuff just didn't hold up or tear through the heavier stuff like the BD. I swear by BD and it's just as cheap as this in the long run for me because it holds up with way less wasted that the Shakespeare.

The price is great, was looking for 0.095 line for trimming wild weeds. should i buy extra for next year too?

Is this one in OP better than this one from HD?
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Power.../314711319
and this one from HF?

I bought this last year. I use is in a 18 volt Ryobi string trimmer. I've had zero issues with this trimmer line.

I like this line. If it's too brittle try soaking it in water overnight. Old line dries out and soaking it bring back the elasticity.
