One thing I would say is every author of an autobiography has the responsibility to thoughtfully balance telling their story and being accurate with not being overly burdensome to the reader. In other words, even if an authors life was hard or bad there is a limit to how much they can emotionally mentally take a dump inside others. Mike Tysons autobiography is somewhat similar in this regard; great book but at some point he became so negative so frequently that I had to put the book down
Similar with this book, eventually at some point around halfway I felt like there was far too much negative energy and not enough balance so I stopped. But overall a good read
