Depends on what you use them for.
I primarily got these for running. Even with the older version, I only busted them out for gym workouts and running activities. AirPod pros fall out or feel like they're gonna fall out when running or working out due to the sweat build up.
As regular headphones, I prefer my AirPod pros.
As for the Powerbeats pro 2, USB C is on everything including the newer iPhone that I have so having the same cables to charge this with was more convenient. Also, wireless charging capable now so that's a plus.
Now the sound. ANC works, but isn't as good as ANC on AirPods. Other audio options such as transparency mode also aren't as good as they are on the AirPod pros. Not sure why.
Audio wise, I feel like it's a tad bit quieter than my AirPod pros and the sound profile isn't as great. Bass isn't great (seems like they're going away from their bass heavy sound profile that beats was known for). Flats are a little more pronounced. Sound is clear, wouldn't say it excels in any one area. AirPod pros seem to have it beat in this aspect too.
The heart rate sensors work. Forgot my watch on a run and was pleasantly surprised to see that my heat rate was still picked up and appeared to be as accurate as my watch when compared to previous runs.
My only complaints with these are that the tips seem to be a little off. Usually mediums fit perfect but with these, I feel like I might have to go one size up. Also, sweat seems to pool around the top of the tips and sits in your ear. Not sure why, seems to be a part of how the hooks are designed. A little annoying but I can shake the sweat off unless it seeps into my buds then I gotta take off the ear bud and shake it off so it isn't as annoying.
Overall, happy with my purchase but again primarily use them for running as the pros don't do great for running.
These did not replace my pros.

IMO these are the best set that have ear hooks. The comparisons others are making are probably fair, but that doesn't mean these are bad. More like subtle differences that you probably would never notice unless you have them side by side to compare.
If you want to improve the sound quality of these, buy a set of Comply foam tips to go along with. They're foam and increase the sound isolation and bass response since they seal better in your ear.
These are really fantastic and have hooks. I've been using them for a year+ and tried the Powerbeats Pro 2s, and went right back to these.
