This is sort of a common misconception. Succulents require deep and thorough watering when they need it, you can just go longer between periods between.

Watering them with a few drops just makes for more work. Better to wait till they show signs (deflated or wrinkled looking) and then really soak them - assuming drainage holes and appropriate soil. That's more similar to how they see water in nature.

Ours did too...and then they died. Altman replaced them but they are also starting to die. We grow a gazillion things but these things have stumped us.

I did the deal last time and they came in excellent shape. Cute little size, and a perfect way to start these plants. I'm glad that we got them.

The amount of water these require is almost laughable. Literally drops of water will do the job.

It was the same for us, but the jade plants survived somehow. So now we have a surplus of jade plants 😅

In pretty sure it's because they are healthy when they ship, but shipping shocks them too much, which takes a bit for them to actually die after that

Same. They came in great condition. I'm afraid my climate might get too much rain for these guys (growing them outdoors,) but that's a "me" problem.

What symptoms? Did you harden them off? These were clearly grown with artificial light, so they'll fry if quickly exposed to unfiltered sunlight.

If you get a lot of rain, you're going to want to use an extremely well draining substrate. I recommend what they call 1-1-1, or tapla's mix, but straight pumice is simpler.

I was under same impression, and killed few succulents. They need proper watering and good amounts of it.

Ours have done very well. Literally only give them some ice cubes every couple of weeks..

Proper watering of succulents in general is to thoroughly wet the soil all the way through and then allow to dry out fully. The frequency of watering will vary by time of year and local climate, but it can vary from a couple times a week in summer to once a month in winter. You'll also need to gradually introduce these to sunlight, as they've been grown under artificial light and then subjected to complete darkness during shipping. Will also want to repot into a pot only about double the size of the current one using a very gritty soil made for succulents or make your own with quality potting soil cut at least 50% with pumice, perlite, and course horticultural sand.

I have bought this set a couple a years ago. Out of 20 or 24, 6 are still alive. Some of those actually grew tall and I planted them in a larger pot. Rest are still in their tiny pots, well and alive.
