The latest version of the power gear version is called the powergear 2. I don't know how much better it is, but it's the newest version of this style. Sounds gimmicky but maybe it's beneficial. I personally haven't used both. I own a small pair of powergear2 anvil loppers. They work great.

I would get the 2inch cut 32" $47 one from home depot such a monster and the blade doesn't go bad like the one from Harbor freight and I own them both.
