Don't worry about it, most knew that (probably all) but there is a fad of being pedantic on the internet. Must be some gold medal for it that I don't know about.

I said "probably" on a business purchase/return since it is absolutely at Dell's discretion. You referred to the personal purchase and suggested reading the return policy. Don't know how else to interpret what you said. Dell's policy clearly states personal purchases can be returned without restocking fee so it's not discretionary.

During checkout there are radio buttons to select from that say personal/business, with personal selected by default.
