Pretty decent show but ends on a cliffhanger and is canceled. I wasn't a big fan of the Bruce Lee name drop because the show contrasts heavily against the type of image he built. Also wasn't a fan of the main characters name, but if you can get past those things it's pretty entertaining television.

I don't know if this is historically accurate, but it depicts a gritty era of San Francisco that you don't often see on film. It is on Netflix right now by the way.

I thought that the series was inspired by Bruce Lee's original idea that eventually became the Kung Fu series with David Carradine and his daughter was an executive producer of the series.
And I thought the first couple of episodes of the first season had the whole vibe and theme from Bruce Lee films.
As for historical accuracy, I think they based some things off of actual events and people, for example Madame Toy was an actual person. But it's fictionalized and they made up their own slang for the show.
