It's not all about raw speed. Wifi6 vs 5:

• Handles more devices simultaneously through improved MU-MIMO technology, letting routers talk to 8 devices at once (vs 4 in WiFi 5)

• Reduces battery drain on connected devices through Target Wake Time (TWT), which lets devices sleep more efficiently

• Better performance in crowded areas like apartments or offices due to BSS Coloring, which reduces interference from neighboring networks

• Lower latency for gaming and real-time applications through OFDMA technology, which divides channels into smaller sub-channels

• Improved security with mandatory WPA3 encryption (optional in WiFi 5)

• Better beamforming capabilities to focus signals directly to devices instead of broadcasting in all directions

• 160MHz channel utilization (vs 80MHz in WiFi 5) for more efficient data transmission even when not at max speeds
+1000 to this. Had these and they constantly died.

Just get some refurb Eeros from Amazon (what I ended up doing) which are sorta close to this price point for a single unit, and you'll never have to think about your wifi again

(PS not an ad for them, just a longtime Eero user/fan)
Even if these were FREE it would not be worth the hassle. Awful product and I am sorry I own these. Don't take my word for it, read the thousands of 1 star reviews on google play explaining how the app is total trash and doesn't let you configure these.... and when/if you did get them configured, your coverage is spotty and unreliable.

Save yourself the headache

So These are not the same as the woot deal a few months ago that had over 100 + comments for $20 a piece? I still have those haven't setup yet in box. Are those better than these?
You mean LN1301? Better. Drop openWRT on it. I literally just set mine up today and getting 20% faster speeds over my TP-Link. The ability to customize with openWRT is mind boggling.

After one year, the product failed to connect to the home modem for broadcasting the WiFi signal, resulting in its disposal. Additionally, when it was operational, the signal strength was insufficient for coverage of up to 4,500 square feet.

I've been using an older very expensive Velop kit (don't remember the model, but it was originally 500+ and 2 nodes, probably 6 years old now) and it's been bulletproof for me, had to powercycle the main router one time a few years ago. I just purchased 2 of these kits to try to extend coverage over to my elderly grandmothers house next door. She doesn't stream anything and this will hopefully provide coverage for family members cell phones and some wifi cameras to place on the inside and outside of her house. There will be probably no more than 2 thigns connected to any node at anytime and low demond on them. Hopefully I can drop her internet bill that is essentially a donation to ATT 95% of the time.
